King 2.5 PR Series Coilover Shocks are the industry standard for off-road racers and rock crawlers alike. They can be valved and tuned for any vehicle from a rock crawling buggy, to a weekend wheeling jeep, to a purpose built off-roading buggy, or especially a desert racer or prerunner. The size of the 2.5 shock is enough to handle most medium to large size vehicles with easy, and selecting the right spring rate is easy with options up to 800 lbs per inch. When in doubt, go with the 2.5 King coilovers.


Shock Tuning Options
As soon as you place your order, one of our experienced shock tuning experts will review your shock specifications and contact you to finalize the details of your order. All King shocks are available with standard or custom tuning. For custom tuning, one of our shock tuning experts will work with you one-on-one to ensure your shocks are built perfectly for your application to provide the best balance of performance and ride quality. For coilovers we will also calculate the proper spring rates for you and back them with our free spring exchange program. Standard valving is also available for do-it-yourself clients or those that plan to re-valve the shocks themselves with one of our King valve stack kits. Our standard valving is calculated to work well for most typical applications that would utilize this size shock.

Compressed and extended shock lengths are measured from eye-to-eye.
For coilovers, account for a 1/2" bump stops and 3/8" for lower spring plate.
Rod ends, OD top caps, IBP, and other options may alter shock dimensions.
Short body shocks have a shorter body, cylinder, and internal shaft spacer.
(Shocks ship uncharged.)

Servicing, Tuning, and Rebuilding
All King Shocks are fully serviceable, tunable, and rebuildable so any parts that wear out or get damaged can be replaced. When your shocks are due for service or need a repair, Filthy Motorsports has you covered with all the parts, instructions, and guidance you need to get the job done. We can also service the shocks for you when that time comes, just contact us and we'll get you on the books.

I ordered the parts from you almost two years ago. I had LAL customs in New York do the body for me. You asked me to keep you posted. Hope all is well! The guy who did the body is a firm believer in the coil overs now. He wasn’t at first test drive but once he got it dialed in he couldn’t believe the difference they make. No axle wrap at all with 535hp. You’ll probably be getting a few orders from this set-up.
