The following King shocks are a direct fit for 09-18 RAM 1500 4x4 and 19-24 Ram 1500 Classic trucks:

Important Vehicle Specific Notes and Recommendations

RAM 1500 series trucks feature rear coil springs instead of leaf springs that provide an exceptionally smooth ride for a truck, especially when paired with a properly tuned set of shocks like these 2.5 Kings. With that in mind, here are a few important tips to keep in mind when considering a suspension system for your truck:

1. The front suspension benefits from 1-1.5" of lift over average stock height and can be lifted up to 2.5" if desired. At 1.5" or above, aftermarket UCAs are required for a proper alignment and performance.

2. To bring the rear end up 1-1.5", a lift block or spring spacer works very well and is recommended.

3. Due to limited aftermarket options for the rear coil springs, RAM 1500 trucks are much more difficult to set up properly for added weight. The factory rear springs are good for about 300-400 lbs evenly distributed and after that heavier rear springs will be needed.

4. Two wheel drive RAM 1500 trucks feature a completely different front IFS suspension and King does not currently offer shocks for that application.

King OEM Performance Shock Upgrade Kits are direct bolt-on replacement shocks and/or coilovers for your vehicle and come custom tuned for the ultimate balance of on-road handling and off-road performance. They include all of the necessary hardware you need for a bolt-on installation that can easily be done over the weekend. Custom length shafts and cylinders are available to work with any brand and size lift kit. Additional options include compression adjusting reservoirs, custom colors, internal or external bypass tubes, and race-spec valving.


Servicing, Tuning, and Rebuilding
All OEM upgrade shocks and coilovers are hand-built with the same parts as all of King's other Performance Race Series shocks. They are completely serviceable, tunable, and rebuildable to last a lifetime and it only requires a few simple hand tools, a few hours, and the appropriate King replacement parts from Filthy Motorsports. If you prefer not to do the work yourself, you can always bring (or send) your shocks to us and we will service them for you.

I received the kings front and rear shocks that I ordered through your company and I am very impressed with how informative and helpful the employees at Filthy Motorsports have been with the entire process and questions I have had along the way. You all have been a great help and I have already recommended your company to a few of my friends who have been wanting to get a suspension set up for their trucks. The day I got my kings shocks I put them on my truck and immediately want out to run some desert trails. Driving the truck was amazing and much more fun than the Rancho suspension that was on it. Ordered some custom length OEM series Kings for my lifted 2014 Ram 1500. They are great, the ride is much better, and my truck is leveled out now. I haven't gotten to use them offroad yet but i'm sure they will perform great! Ben was a huge help throughout the entire process!
